WWE has been trying to establish Reigns as the next face of the company since 2015 but the audience boo him in every arena he competes in even though he performs as a babyface (good guy).
According to Ringside News, Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer claims that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon had a year-long plan that would have Lesnar beat everyone with one F5 before WrestleMania.
Then The Big Dog would become the first superstar to kick out of the devastating finisher in 12 months and would then dethrone the Universal Champion.
However, plans changed a week before Mania because the fans were still booing the three-time world champion.
