Huawei's next smartwatch may store a pair of wireless earbuds.
Now a new patent talks about a completely new smartwatch that just doesn’t tell you just the time and tracks your health but also does something no other tech firm has done or have probably thought of – storing a pair of earbuds.
Yes, according to the patent spotted by LetsGoDigital, Huawei is planning a smartwatch that can store earbuds as well. They can be stored in the spring mechanism that can open or close or they could attach with the smartwatch using magnets.

The patent also shows an example wherein the earbuds are stored in its clasp. The earbuds themselves are said to be water resistant and have active noise cancellation.
this is just a patent, it may or may not see the light of the day anytime soon. Rumours going around on the web indicate Huawei to make use of this tech with its Huawei Watch 3. But there’s no confirmation. Since the Chinese tech firm recently unveiled the 2018 edition of the Huawei Watch 2, there could be some time before we may see the Watch 3.
The patent titled ‘Wearable device having Bluetooth headset’ was approved by World Intellectual Property Organisation on June 28.
Meanwhile, Huawei also seems to be focussing on its rumoured gaming smartphone that is expected to arrive this year. The handset will be arriving in the second half of this year, reports Gadget Match website citing Huawei Consumer Business president, Jim Xu. It is said to take better advantage of the firm’s new GPU Turbo technology that was introduced with the Honor 9i.
The firm is also expected to bring a foldable smartphone sometime in 2019 in order to Samsung a fight.
