Xiaomi Mi A2 prices leaked again by online retailers ahead of July 24 launch.

It is very little we don’t know about the Xiaomi Mi A2 ahead of its July 24 launch.

We are just a couple of days from the official launch of the Xiaomi Mi A2 in Spain. But there doesn’t seem to be an end to all the leaks around the smartphone.

Ahead of the launch, another couple of online retailers have listed the Xiaomi smartphone along with its price, and specifications.

The Xiaomi Mi A2 has been spotted on e-retailers’ websites in Poland and Romania before. Now, it has been listed by Chinese and British e-retailers, and both are also accepting pre-orders for the yet-to-be-launched device, GSMArenareports.

Interestingly, both these websites only list the Mi A2, and not the much-rumoured Mi A2 Lite.

UK’s global Central and China’s Banggood store both have listed the 64GB+4GB RAM variant of the Xiaomi Mi A2. The UK website mentions the price as £209.99 (approximately Rs 19,000), which is claims is after a 13 per cent discount.

The Chinese website, on the other hand, mentions the price as Rs 16,105, which is down from Rs 18,907.05.

The pricing on the Chinese website does seem more believable and is close to what the Xiaomi Mi A1 was launched last year. Like last year, the Xiaomi Mi 6X will be rebranded as the Xiaomi Mi A2 for the global markets.

The major differentiator between the two models will be the stock operating system. This year, however, rumours hint at the launch of a second model, dubbed Mi A2 Lite.
Xiaomi Mi A2 expected specifications, features

The Xiaomi Mi A2 is expected to flaunt a 6-inch FHD+ 18:9 display, and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. There are likely to be two variants to choose from – 64GB+4GB RAM, and 128GB+6GB RAM.

The smartphone will also come with the dual-camera setup at the back with a combination of 12-megapixel and 20-megapixel sensors. For selfies, there will be a 20-megapixel sensor at the front. On the software front, the device is expected to run stock Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
