REY MYSTERIO is set to make a sensational WWE return after signing a two-year contract and could make his first appearance next month.
According to Wrestling Standard, Mysterio’s new deal will begin on August 1 and he may make his return on the first episode of Smackdown after SummerSlam in Brooklyn, New York on the 21st.
The three-time world champion reportedly met WWE officials 10 days ago when RAW came to San Diego, California and that was when the negotiations were finalised.
The ex-WWE Champion made a shock comeback at the Royal Rumble last January where he wowed the fans with his tremendous new shape as well as his stunning high-flying manoeuvres.

However, that proved to be a one-off and he didn’t even appear at WrestleMania 34 even though he was rumoured to be set to take part in the Showcase of the Immortals.
The former World Heavyweight Champion also featured in the Greatest Royal Rumble Match in Saudi Arabia that saw him battling 50 other men.
Mysterio is one of the greatest and most exciting WWE legends of all time as he has beaten some of the greatest wrestlers, like Eddie Guerrero, Chris Jericho and CM Punk.
The Master of the 619 also thrived in the tag team division as he won championships alongside the likes of Edge, Rob Van Dam and Batista.
