Former WWE superstar Shawn Michaels is celebrating his 53rd birthday on Sunday. Known as the 'heartbreak kid', Michaels has had a great WWE career as he held various titles during his career and also formed a pair with veteran superstars. His pair with Triple H, which was known as DX, was one of the best pairs in WWE history.

Michaels retired from WWE after he lost to Undertaker at Wrestlemania 26. As per the stipulation set by The Undertaker, Michaels career was on the line. On the other hand, had The Undertaker lost that match, his unbeaten streak of 17 matches would have been over.

In an evenly contested match, The Undertaker survived and added another win to take the winning streak to 18. Here is the video of Shawn Michaels' last match in WWE –

The next night after Wrestlemania, Michaels gave a farewell speech at WWE Raw, where, in the end, Triple H came out and hugged his former tag team partner.

After retiring, he went on to make certain appearances in WWE, including one as a guest referee in the match between Triple H and The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 28. The latter would extend his undefeated streak in Wrestlemania by defeating his opponent. Michaels was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.

Recently, he was asked about the wrestler whom he would face like to face if we're to make a comeback and his answer had the name of The Undertaker. "From the legends, it would be a toss-up between the Undertaker and Hunter, even though you guys have seen it a number of times, it is the old faithful thing and will be a lot of fun.

From Current roster also, it will be a tough one and if I am getting one shot, I guess it will be a tossup between Finn Balor and AJ Styles,'he told The Times of India.
