Asus Zenfone 5Z, the latest flagship by Asus India will go on sale from July 9 midnight as a Flipkart exclusive product.

As previously reported, Zenfone 5Zwill be available in Midnight Blue and Meteor Silver colours and it is available in three configurations.

The first variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage is priced at Rs 29,999, the second variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage is priced at Rs 32,999, and the third and top end variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage is priced at Rs 36,999.

Asus has intentionally kept the pricing aggressive to take on its competition, the OnePlus 6 along with other flagship devices in the premium mid-range segment.

According to the announcement, Flipkart and Asus are offering potential buyers with ICICI Bank debit or credit card holders an instant discount of Rs 3,000 and Reliance Jio users can get an additional cash back of Rs 2,200 with up to 100GB additional data.

Other offers include the no-cost EMI starting from Rs 3,333 per month along with the Complete Mobile Protection plan by Flipkart for Rs 499 instead of the usual Rs 2,299.

Zenfone 5z comes with a 6.2-inch FHD+ display (1080×2246 pixels) with a 19:9 aspect ratio, edge-to-edge near the bezel-less screen and the infamous notch.

The device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC with octa-core processor with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage.

Users can expand storage with the help of the hybrid SIM slot to use the second slot to insert a microSD card.

The company has packed a dual-camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with a wide-angle lens. The front of the device comes with an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies.
