Sanjay Dutt loves Ranbir Kapoor in Sanju! Salman Khan and Arshad Warsi
After Salman Khan and Arshad Warsi claimed that Sanjay Dutt himself and not Ranbir Kapoor should have starred in his own biopic, the Munnabhai M.B.B.S star says that he thinks Ranbir Kapoor has done a fantastic job playing him in Sanju and he has no additional advice for the actor. He is just looking forward to watching the film on the big screen.

Arguably the most-anticipated film of 2018, the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju has got the entire nation talking. Be it Ranbir’s portrayal of the lackadaisical days of Sanjay Dutt’s youth or the latter years of one of the most controversial actors of Bollywood, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil star has nailed it every single step of the way, at least according to the fans of Ranbir and director of the film Rajkumar Hirani.
However, in recent interviews, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who is also a close friend of Sanjay Dutt dismissed Ranbir’s remarkable performance of playing Sanjay Dutt, at least as far as the trailers go, and emphasised that the Khalnayak star should have played himself in his biopic, at least the latter stages of his life.
Then joining Salman’s crusade, Sanjay Dutt’s Munnabhai franchise co-star Arshad Warsi also made a comment on Ranbir’s portrayal of Sanjay Dutt. He was confused as to why someone else was playing Sanjay Dutt (referring to Ranbir Kapoor) and not the actor himself. According to Arshad, no one can portray Sanjay Dutt better than he himself. Like Salman, Arshad Warsi too stressed that Sanjay Dutt could have at least appeared as himself in the last 8-10 years in the film.
