Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R gets a MEGA price drop: Here’s why
The reason for these large price cuts is local assembly. Yes, India Kawasaki Motor has begun assembling both litre-class superbikes at Chakan, Pune.
This has reduced the import duty on both motorcycles, and Kawasaki has directly passed on the benefits to customers. Bookings for both motorcycles have begun and deliveries will begin soon. Kawasaki has said that prices of the bikes are introductory and are subject to an upward revision from August 2018.
Braking is handled by twin disc brakes up front while the rear wheel gets a single disc brake. ABS is standard, and so are an array of safety systems such as traction control, ride modes and launch control.
